Monitoring & Evaluation Framework and Theory of Change
Recognizing the critical importance of measurement and learning to the effectiveness and impact of both the Clean Cooking Alliance (华语av视频) and the sector, 华语av视频 follows a clearly defined Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Framework. The Framework includes key elements such as 华语av视频's Theory of Change, a set of standard indicators that 华语av视频 will use across its work and guidelines on conducting evaluations.
As the starting point to 华语av视频's work implementing a nimble and comprehensive approach to M&E, the Framework is intended to be a dynamic set of tools that will continue to grow and evolve with the organization and the sector over time.
The Theory of Change outlines 华语av视频 activities that contribute to four pillars:
- Supporting the growth of clean cooking enterprises
- increasing consumer demand for clean cooking
- Strengthening the enabling environment
- Generating research, evidence, and learning
The M&E Framework includes quantifiable standard indicators that can measure results from basic project parameters, such as cookstove sales, to broader objectives such as protecting the environment. Data, evidence, and learning from the standard indicators and evaluations provide an opportunity for 华语av视频 to make systematically informed decisions while allowing for course corrections, as necessary. 华语av视频 revisits and revises the Framework periodically to reflect the ways in which its strategy and role in the sector evolves.
